The URL https://zerodhacapital.com/, the associated mobile applications, and similar online channels (Collectively, the “Loan Portal”) are owned and operated by Zerodha Capital Private Limited (“Zerodha”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”), a Non-Banking Financial Company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 and registered with the Reserve Bank of India, having its registered office at #175/176, 2nd Floor Bannerghatta Main Road, next to Rainbow Hospital, Bilekahalli, Bengaluru - 560078 Karnataka
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are applicable to all customers or users (“User”/ “You”) who visit the Loan Portal, or intend to avail of services from Zerodha. By using or visiting the Loan Portal or by using any information provided as part of Loan Portal, you shall be deemed to have read, understood and accepted to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Loan Portal. Since these Terms constitute a legal contract between you and Zerodha, it is imperative that you review these Terms carefully.
These Terms are not intended in any way to alter or limit the terms and conditions of any other contractual arrangement you may have with Zerodha. These Terms shall not override the provisions of any specific loan documentation that may be executed between Zerodha and you, or any documents executed pursuant to the directives of the RBI, SEBI or any of the exchanges. In case of any conflict between any such documents and these Terms, the provisions of the other documentation shall prevail over these Terms.
The Products and Services on the Loan Portal are offered only in countries where they may be lawfully offered by Zerodha. The content on the Loan Portal is not intended for use by persons located in, or resident in, countries that restrict the distribution of such content. Nothing on the Loan Portal should not be regarded as an offer or solicitation to sell investments or make deposits in any jurisdiction to any person to whom it is unlawful to make such an invitation or solicitation in such jurisdiction. If you access the Loan Portal from outside India, you do so at your own risk, and you are responsible for any compliances required with the laws of such jurisdiction. Zerodha shall, at its sole discretion, retain the right to determine eligibility of a client to avail any of the products or services offered on the Loan Portal.
The information available on the Loan Portal is not intended to provide professional advice. Persons accessing the Loan Portal should obtain appropriate professional advice wherever required.
We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms at any time. Any such modifications will become effective immediately upon posting to the Loan Portal. Your continued use of the Loan Portal constitutes your agreement to any such modifications. You agree to periodically review the current version of these Terms as posted on the Loan Portal.
Intellectual property rights
All content and information contained on the Loan Portal or delivered to you in connection with the use of the Loan Portal, including but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, designs, photographs, button icons, images, data compilations (Collectively “Intellectual Property”) is the property of Zerodha, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing contained on the Loan Portal should be construed as granting any license or right to use any of our Intellectual Property. We retain all proprietary rights on our Intellectual Property, and you are prohibited from using the same without the prior written permission of Zerodha.
The materials on the Loan Portal are protected by copyright and no part of such materials may be modified, reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, transmitted (in any form or by any means), copied, distributed, used for creating derivative works or used in any other way for commercial or public purposes without the prior written consent of Zerodha. All the content available on or via the Loan Portal is provided to you ‘AS IS’ for your information and personal use only.
You agree not to decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble any content accessible through the Loan Portal, not to insert any code or product or manipulate the contents of the Loan Portal in any way, and not to use any data mining, data gathering or extraction methods on the Loan Portal.
The Intellectual Property, trademarks, domain names and trade dress of Zerodha shall not be used in connection with any product or service that is not affiliated with Zerodha. Zerodha reserves all rights not expressly granted in and to the Loan Portal.
Disclaimers and warranties
By submitting your contact details, you authorize Zerodha Capital to contact you even if you are registered on DND.
Whilst every care has been taken in preparing the information contained on the Loan Portal, such information is provided "AS IS", without any warranties, either express or implied. Specifically, no warranties are given regarding non-infringement, merchantability, security, accuracy, fitness for any purpose, or freedom from computer viruses in connection with such information.
No information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from the Loan Portal shall create any warranty not expressly stated herein. Without limiting the foregoing, Zerodha does not warrant that the Loan Portal will meet all your requirements; that the Loan Portal will be available at any particular time or location, uninterrupted or secure; that there will be no delays, failures, errors or losses of information; or that the Loan Portal is free of viruses or other harmful components.
You have sole responsibility to ensure adequate protection and back up of your data and/or equipment, and to undertake reasonable and appropriate precautions to scan for computer viruses or other destructive components.
Zerodha does not warrant, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any product or service advertised or offered by a third party through the Loan Portal. Zerodha will not be a party to or in any way monitor any transaction between you and third-party providers of products or services.
You understand that all internet transactions by their very nature are subject to interruptions, transmission blackouts, and events of delayed transmission. Zerodha is not liable for malfunctions in communications facilities not under its control (including e-mails), which may affect the accuracy or timeliness of transactions undertaken by you or otherwise cause loss to you in any manner whatsoever.
Your usage of the Loan Portal
To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps (such as 2 factor authentication) to verify your identity before granting you access. Ultimately, you are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials. Please note that you are solely responsible for all activities performed through your account. We assume no liability for improper handling of information on your part that may result in your personal information being compromised. Zerodha shall in no way be held responsible for any loss that you incur as a result of someone else using Your login credentials, either with or without your knowledge.
You may use the Loan Portal for lawful purposes only. You shall not transmit through the Loan Portal any information that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any law.
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
copying, distributing, or disclosing any part of the Loan Portal in any medium;
transmitting spam, chain letters, or other unsolicited email;
attempting to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Loan Portal;
taking any action that imposes, or may impose at our sole discretion an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our system infrastructure;
uploading invalid data, viruses, worms, or other software agents to the Loan Portal;
collecting or harvesting any personal information from the Loan Portal;
using the Loan Portal for any commercial purposes without prior written consent from Zerodha;
impersonating another person or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity, conducting fraud, hiding or attempting to hide your identity;
bypassing the measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Loan Portal.
You understand that Zerodha and/or its employees/assigns will not contact you directly outside official channels for disclosure of any sensitive or personal information. You are solely responsible to exercise due diligence to verify the identity of the individual(s) contacting you before disclosing any sensitive or personal information. Indemnities and liabilities
You shall indemnify and hold Zerodha harmless from and against any and all losses, damages, settlements, liabilities and third party claims arising out of any breach by you of these Terms, or by usage of the Loan Portal by you in a manner which violates any third party rights or applicable laws.
By use of the Loan Portal, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for any and all actions, liabilities and consequences, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Loan Portal. You shall in no way hold Zerodha responsible for the same.
Lending partners
Zerodha Capital does not outsource the sourcing of borrowers or recovering of dues to any third party NBFCs/Agents/companies. All funds disbursed to clients come from our own funds. However, we have tied up with our associated company Zerodha Broking Limited to source existing clients of that company.
By use of the Loan Portal, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for any and all actions, liabilities and consequences, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Loan Portal. You shall in no way hold Zerodha responsible for the same.
Grievance redressal

Our Grievance Officer shall redress any complaints you raise within 1 (one) month from receipt of the complaint.
Miscellaneous
Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the applicable laws of India without reference to conflict of laws principles. Courts in Bengaluru, India shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to determine any disputes arising out of, or in relation to, or under, the terms of these Terms. Depending on the nature of the dispute, any disputes may be referred to ombudsmans or arbitration panels, as per the applicable regulatory regime.
Severability: If any term or provision in these Terms is held to be either illegal or unenforceable, in whole or in part, under any enactment or rule of law, such term or provision or part shall to that extent be deemed not to form part of these Terms, but the validity and enforceability of the remainder of these Terms shall not be affected.
Notices: All Notices required to be given to Zerodha under these Terms shall be addressed to [email protected].
Assignment: Only Zerodha may assign its rights to any third party under these Terms. You may not assign the whole or any part of your rights or obligations under these Terms.
Modification: Zerodha reserves the right to delete, modify, change or discontinue any or all of the information on the Loan Portal without giving notice to anyone.
